GENERAL
What is Golden Hour?
Golden Hour is a two-day micro-festival that will be taking place at The Mustang Drive-In Theatre, located in Bloomfield in the heart of Prince Edward County during the September long weekend (Sept 5 & 6, 2020). Golden Hour aims to be a beacon of light in a time of darkness, bringing entertainment back to the community.
Why is it called Golden Hour?
Everyone knows our favourite time in The County is when the sun is setting in those beautiful cotton candy coloured skies. What better time to hold a concert!
Fun Fact: Golden Hour is the period of daytime shortly after sunrise or before sunset, during which daylight is redder and softer than when the Sun is higher in the sky. - Wiki
What time should I arrive?
We will be loading cars in by zone, please refer to your ticket in regards to your load in time or below for reference.
Zone 1/VIP 6:00-6:30
Zone 2: 6:30-6:45
Zone 3: 6:45-7:00
Zone 4: 7:00-7:30
What is Show time?
The show starts at 8 PM sharp.
How will the sound work?
Just like when you come to the movies at the drive-in, you will be able to tune into the concert in your vehicle via your FM radio!
Where is the Mustang Theatre?
Thanks for asking! We know there are a few Mustang Theatre locations. The official address is 1521 Prince Edward County Rd 1, Bloomfield, ON K0K 1G0.
How many people are on site?
The Mustang Drive-In accommodates approximately 150 cars per day and vehicles are capped at 5 people maximum per car. This ensures that we are able to provide a safe and socially distanced site.
What if it rains?
The show must go on, rain or shine! In the case of extreme inclement weather (think of the Cow scene in Twister), where it is unsafe for you to be at the festival - our social media will be updated with weather advisories. The beauty of the drive-in model is that you are in your car and safe from the elements!

TICKETING
What are the ticket prices and why?
Ticket prices are based on a per car fee, with a maximum of 5 persons per vehicle, each of which are required to have a seatbelt. Due to COVID-19, our venue is operating at half capacity - and for safety reasons, there is a maximum allowed patrons per car to help us safely socially distance at the festival.
According to the current provincial guidelines, patrons are required to stay within their vehicle for the event. We will keep all attendees updated if regulations change as we get closer to the event. We want all guests to have the best experience, and recognize your safety is part of that experience.
Ticket prices are based on proximity to the stage via 4 zones. Zone 4, however has the option of watching The Stage (with Screen 1 behind it) or Screen 2 to their immediate right. Both screens will broadcast a live feed of the stage.
Zone 1 (VIP): $250 + Taxes & Fees
Zone 2: $200 + Taxes & Fees
Zone 3: $180 + Taxes & Fees
Zone 4: $160 + Taxes & Fees
What if I’m a single occupant, can I get a cheaper ticket?
Unfortunately due to our limited capacity at the festival, our ticket prices are designed to reflect the space they occupy, and we are not able to accommodate a lower price for single attendees. We get it, we're single too and encourage you to bring members of your social circle.
How do I know which spot I’ve reserved?
During your ticket purchase, you select a zone with an assigned arrival time, upon arrival parking spaces in the zone are first come, first serve.
What does a VIP ticket include?
Our VIP Ticket includes a viewing spot within the first and second rows of the venue. You’ll have dedicated access to all amenities at the festival such as merch, food and washrooms. Additionally, you will receive an invitation to our preview event, on September 4th, at a secret location (details will be emailed to you) and a small gift from our local partners.
Are there restrictions on the size of vehicles permitted?
Zone 1 (VIP) does not permit large or XL vehicles such as minivans, trucks or SUVs. Large vehicles such as SUVs, minivans, and trucks will be directed to park at the back and end of rows of their zones so as to not obstruct the view of other cars. RVs and limousines will NOT be permitted.

At the current time the provincial guidelines maintain that patrons must stay within their vehicle while at the drive-in. Please remember to wash your hands and utilize hand sanitizer around the festival (available at the snack bar if you want a personal one, or bring your own!).
